Josh Wardle, a Brooklyn-based software developer, was aware of his partner's love of
wordle game and wanted to create a word guessing game just for them. Wordle was a play on his surname, so he named it that. From then forth, the support of his loved ones was overwhelming. It has since been decided by Mr. Wardle that he will release it to the general public in October.
