stanley mug next meal on nearby animals and humans.With the number of blacklegged ticks found locally on the rise over the past few years, much of Halton Region has been identified as an estimated risk area for Lyme disease by Public Health Ontario PHO .But the local tick surveillance season will look a bit different this year as Halton Public Health staff focus their efforts on the coronavirus pandemic.

The program will be available when the staff have resumed their regular duties. This means that local residents currently cant submit any ticks they find to the health department for identification and testing. More than a year after Bramptons Lovleen Dhawan was reported missing, Peel Police say the investigation is still ongoing but there are no updates on the case.Const. Bancroft Wright, media officer for Peel Police, said the case was originally with the police services Criminal Investigations Bureau, but as is the departments practice with longer-term missing persons cases, it has now been taken over by the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau.The case is considered a missing persons investigation.
