Police have recovered the body of a missing 20-year-old North York resident who went missing after a canoe capsized on Pigeon Lake late Tuesday July 14 night.Kawartha Lakes Fire and Rescue say the canoeist went missing聽 around 9 p.m. Emergency crews, including fire, OPP and EMS, searched Pigeon Lake with the help of the OPP helicopter until late Tuesday night, but the search was unsuccessful.On Wednesday morning, underwater search and recovery crews arrived on the scene. Ontario is reporting another 847 COVID-19 cases and 10 more deaths, according to its latest report released Wednesday morning, the fourth straight day the province has reported less than 1,000 cases.The province does note that case counts in Toronto may fluctuate as the citys public health agency continues to migrate its data reporting system.The seven-day average is down to 1,002 cases daily, or 48 weekly per 100,000.
