stanley water bottle nd Truman Road on Sunday morning.According to Kansas City, Missouri police the incident happened just before 3:30 a.m.KCPD said a Kia Sedan was traveling eastbound on I-435 when the driver lost control. The vehicle drove off of the south curb of the roadway when they hit the person who was sitting at the base of the exit ramp beyond the curb. The victim, who was identified as a 55-year-old Independence man, died at the scene. The north bound exit near I-435 at Truman Road was shut down while the investigation was underway.
