St. Michaels Hospital declared a COVID-19 outbreak in their emergency department Tuesday.A statement released on the hospitals website reported five active cases amongst staff related to the outbreak with no reports in patient cases.According to the statement, outbreak status refers to two COVID-19 cases within a 14-day period, where both cases could reasonably have been acquired in hospital.
