A routine traffic stop in the early hours of April 16 has resulted in York Regional Police seizing more than 360 lb of illegal cannabis in Markham.Shortly after 4 a.m., an officer stopped a white van on Hwy. 407, near Ninth Line.During conversation with the driver, the officer noticed multiple duffel bags scattered in the van. Further investigation revealed the bags contained more than 360 lb of cannabis, with a street value of more than $1.6-million.
